He has already given us everything we need. He is faithful.
I always joked around with my Georgia born husband asking where his coveralls were because that’s all he was missing. So country! He can hunt, clean and prepare meat. Fish, clean, and prepare that too. Not only that he has knowledge of growing fruits and a vegetable that this city girl just does not possess. He helped me to see that we had garlic and wild onions growing in our own backyard literally plants that treat and heal naturally just as God intended.. FYI our doctors are not trained to provide us with natural remedies.
So I went from heckling to complete appreciation and admiration because I realized wait, what would we do without the convenience of a supermarket? We would be dependent on those who possess these very skills. Our traits and skills greatly compliment one another's however mine require electricity! Not only that, but after the storms hits and power was lost for extended periods of time refrigerated meats became spoiled. That was the first and only time I’ve seen Walmart’s meat area empty! It was a sight to see and reminded me of how dependent we are on consumerism. News flash they are dependent themselves, on a God who keeps his promises. A time of Great Tribulation is to come and I believe strongly that as history repeats itself we will have to return to the ways of old, our God given skills to survive.
With all that said, the Lord of Hosts wants us to know today:
